Requirements To Write For Us
- You need to be excellent – At the end of the day, being an excellent writer is the most important thing.
Sure, you need to be able to write some great content, but your writing also needs to be excellent, so it needs to be well-researched, well-structured, and well-edited.
We know it might be hard for you to meet all three criteria at the beginning, but that’s why you must keep writing. The more articles you write and publish, the better you’ll get at writing them.
- Produce original content – You also need to ensure that your content is original. For every article you publish, we expect you to write it from scratch.
That means you must thoroughly research your article topic and ensure it is 100% original.
- You need to have a good command of English – Writing for an English-language site; you need to have a good command of English. That doesn’t mean that you need to be a native speaker, but you need to have a good command of the language in general.
One of the first things an editor will do when they receive your initial pitch is to see if your writing is free of grammar and spelling mistakes.
If it isn’t, they’ll probably reject your article. That also applies to your published articles. If they contain any mistakes, you’ll likely receive a warning.

Questions To Ask Yourself Before Writing For Us
It’s easy to get caught up in the moment and respond with an enthusiastic yes to every opportunity that comes your way. However, careful consideration can make all the difference when it comes to saying yes or no.
If you’re trying to think of topics for your guest posts to know if you should write for us again but don’t know where to start, here are some questions that will help you figure out if writing for us is right.
Are you ready to invest time and effort and be patient? – Writing is a very time-consuming process. You must be ready to invest time into your writing. You’ll also need to research your niche and what posts you should write.
Do you know your target readers? – Writing for a specific audience is important, so it’s important to know your target readers and what they’re looking for in your content.
Knowing your target readers will enable you to write content that resonates with them and leads to more engagement, traffic, and subscribers. Lucky for you, here at Redlasso, we have a broad audience.
Do you agree with our editorial policy? – Every publishing house has an editorial policy, and we’re no different. While you need to write original and unique content, you shouldn’t copy other people’s content or write plagiarized content. If you can’t agree with our editorial policy, working with us won’t be possible.
Are you confident in your spelling and grammar skills? – Your writing should be error-free, and it should be easy to understand and free of any grammatical and spelling mistakes.
This is especially important since you’ll be writing for a large audience. While we’re not asking you to be perfect, your content must be as close to it as possible.
Are you open to constructive criticism? – As we mentioned earlier, being a writer means that you’ll be open to constructive criticism.
You’ll receive feedback from your editors and readers and need to be open to their feedback and suggestions. Writing for us again would be a challenge if you’re not open to feedback and suggestions.
Are you comfortable with the platform of digital content? – We primarily publish and distribute our content digitally. We will publish your content on our website and our social media channels.
Do you feel comfortable in the digital content platform or prefer to write for print? If you’re more comfortable with a different type of content, then writing for us again may not be the best idea.
Can you commit to the frequency, research deadlines, and word counts we expect of you? – If you’ve to write for us, you’ll need to stick to our frequency, research deadlines, and word counts.
The frequency is how often you’ll write content for us. The research deadlines are how long you’ll have to complete your research and write your content, and word counts refer to the number of words you should have in each of your posts (1000+ words).
If you can’t commit to these, this may not be for you. If you’ve managed to answer all the questions above, then you may be a good fit to write for us.
However, if there are any questions that you’re still unsure about, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Ultimately, the decision is yours. However, if writing for us again is something you’d like to do, we’re more than happy to have you on board.
